The biometric photographs taken with Biometric Go are temporarily stored in a secured, central database operated by a certified hosting partner in Germany. No photographs are stored on the devices themselves. As soon as the photographs are accessed in the administrative procedure (or, at the latest, after a pre-set period of time) the photographs are deleted from the central database.

Biometric Go is a mobile solution, which means it can be used at different places within a department. With this in mind, one Biometric Go device is usually sufficient for a local council office. For larger administrative units, however, such as municipalities with over 50,000 citizens, we recommend ordering several devices to help keep waiting times to a minimum.
